Burn forever. Fight forever. Loop forever.
You are a burning skeleton cursed to fight through an endless cycle of darkness. Wield your chained flail in brutal combat as you battle through 8 enemy-filled chambers in each loop. Survive, and the healing well awaits if you’ve earned its restoration.
Upgrade your weapon 💀
Upgrade your flail’s power, extend its deadly reach, or move faster to outpace the horrors that stalk each chamber. Every loop grows deadlier, every swing more desperate.
In Chainbound, there is no escape, only the chain, the fire, and the fight to survive the next loop.
How to Play 💀
- Move with WASD to navigate the chambers.
- Aim with your mouse to control the direction of your flail.
- Charge your swing by holding Left Mouse Button. The longer you hold, the more power you build.
- Release the button to unleash the flail, smashing enemies with brutal force.
- Clear all enemies in a chamber to progress, earn gold, and purchase upgrades between fights.
About 💀
This game was made by a father (Lasse) and son (Henrik) team in 96 hours for the GMTK Game Jam 2025 based on the theme "Loop".
